After a bright start to the season, last week's 2-0 defeat at Bournemouth made it five games without a win for Leeds, since a superb 4-1 win over Newcastle. Daniel Farke's side remain unbeaten at home, although they've slipped to 12th, below Saturday's opponents.
Spurs appear to be coming into their groove under Roberto De Zerbi, winning three in a row and with just one loss in seven. They've risen to 9th and the expensive new midfield partnership of Sandro Tonali and Matheus Fernandes is starting to look the part.
Elland Road for an early Saturday kick-off is a different challenge however, and we think these two evenly-matched teams will cancel each other out and remain in mid-table.
After a run of four games without a goal to start the season, Spurs have scored in each of their last five, scoring at least two in four of those. Leeds meanwhile have only failed to score at home once this season. Both teams have scored in each of the last four meetings between the two, and we're predicting that to happen again.
With Noah Okafor still an injury doubt, the burden of Leeds' attack rests even heavier on Dominic Calvert-Lewin, and he's delivered again so far this season to earn an England recall. DCL has scored in two of his last three home games, and has recorded at least one shot on target in every home game this season. We're tipping him to land another here.
A plethora of injuries in forward areas have forced De Zerbi to pick the same attackers each week, which indirectly could be helping Spurs find some fluency. Omar Marmoush had a slow start, much like the rest of the team, but the versatile Egyptian has found a role playing off Dominic Solanke. Marmoush has four shots on target in his last three games, and we think he'll test James Trafford at least once at Elland Road.
