Ladbrokes previews Manchester City vs Arsenal in the Premier League
Rayan Cherki is tipped to provide an assist with Piero Hincapie picking up a booking
Over 1.5 goals are predicted to be scored with a Man City win or draw backed in a double-chance bet

Perhaps the biggest game of the Premier League season awaits on Sunday as title-rivals Manchester City and Arsenal go head-to-head at the Etihad Stadium.
Arsenal have spent much of the season at the top of the table but a recent wobble has left the door open for Man City to do the unthinkable and pip Mikel Arteta's men to an elusive title once again, with the two clubs six points apart as it stands. City's extra game in hand over the Gunners means a win on Sunday would give them the chance to eventually go level on points, with a draw suiting Arsenal better as it would keep the title firmly in their hands, so it remains to be seen how both teams approach the game.
Ahead of a seismic Premier League encounter, Ladbrokes brings you an in-depth preview including lineups, predictions and tips for your Man City vs Arsenal bet builder.

Fixture: Manchester City vs Arsenal
Date: Sunday, April 19, 2026
Kick-off: 16:30 BST
Venue: Etihad Stadium
Our predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Donnarumma / Nunes, Khusanov, Guehi, Ait Nouri / Rodri, Bernardo / Semenyo, Cherki, Doku / Haaland
Our predicted XI (4-3-3): Raya / Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, Hincapie / Zubimendi, Rice / Madueke, Eze, Martinelli / Gyokeres
Rayan Cherki has cemented himself as City's key creator in recent weeks, registering three assists in his last three Premier League games as well as in their 4-0 dismantling of Liverpool in the FA Cup quarter-finals.
The France international has 10 assists overall in the Premier League this season - behind only Bruno Fernandes - and is probably the City man most capable of unlocking what is set to be a stubborn Arsenal defence, so our experts are backing him to lay it on for a team-mate once again.
Piero Hincapie has a tough assignment awaiting him on the left side of Arsenal's defence against Antoine Semenyo, who is always willing to drive forward with pace, power and trickery.
The Ecuador international was forced into a booking during City's 2-0 win in the Carabao Cup final last month when facing up against January signing Semenyo and with Riccardo Calafiori missing out against Sporting, Hincapie looks set to start. We believe that all points to another booking for the defender in this game.
Man City's games have seen an average of 2.9 total goals this season, with Arsenal slightly lower at 2.7, so an over 1.5 goals selection feels like a solid pick.
While a tense and nervy affair seems likely with so much on the line, both teams possess plenty of quality in attacking areas. Given City likely need a victory against the Gunners, we're expecting them to play on the front foot, which should result in at least two goals being scored across the match.
Our final selection is a double-chance bet of a Man City win or a draw. Given the form both sides are in, we think Man City will take points off the Premier League leaders - but we are not fully convinced a victory is definitely on the cards.
Arsenal know a draw would not be the worst result in the world and, as we saw in their 0-0 stalemate with Sporting CP to reach the Champions League semi-finals, there is the chance they will look to do just enough to claim the result they need.
