Manchester City are the new favourites ahead of Liverpool in the Marc Guehi next club odds, with the Crystal Palace centre-back tipped for a January move before his contract expires in the summer.

Liverpool had reportedly agreed to sign Guehi last summer before Palace pulled out of the deal at the last minute - and now it looks like Man City could steal in and land the England international instead of their Premier League rivals.

With Guehi's summer exit from Selhurst Park a near certainty, a January move could materialise with the Eagles wary of losing their captain for free when his deal expires. As a result, a host of clubs from across Europe are seen as potential mid-season options.

Guehi looked set to be the final move in an eye-catching transfer window for Liverpool last summer before Palace reportedly backtracked on the deal at the last minute and opted to keep their skipper for another season before his contract expiry.

Just a few months on and a lot has changed, with the champions failing to mount a successful title defence and many of the arrivals from their £450million transfer window yet to fully convince.

And now City could land a further blow to Arne Slot's side by stealing their top defensive target from under their noses, if the latest odds are to be believed.

Recent reports linking Guehi to the Etihad have seen Man City drop to just 2/1 to sign the England centre-back in January, with Liverpool now 5/1.

Plenty of other clubs are also interested in Guehi this January, with LaLiga giants Real Madrid and Barcelona leading the outsiders in the market.

Both are just 12/1 to sign the 26-year-old in January, with the player surely excited by the prospect of playing for two of the world's biggest clubs.

European champions Paris Saint-Germain are also in the mix at 14/1, with Chelsea named as 16/1 contenders to sign their former academy star.

Arsenal complete the potential Premier League destinations at 20/1, the same odds given for a move to Bayern Munich, where he would link up with England team-mate Harry Kane.

AC Milan and Inter Milan complete the market, with the fierce Serie A rivals both 25/1 to complete a move for Guehi this January.
