Mikael Silvestre believes the Premier League is still in Arsenal's hands despite a recent wobble
But the ex-Arsenal defender admitted defeat at Manchester City could change the landscape of the race
Silvestre said he believes a maiden Champions League triumph remains a possibility for the Gunners

The Premier League title remains "Arsenal's to lose" despite their shock defeat to Bournemouth, according to Mikael Silvestre, but Sunday's game against challengers Manchester City could turn the race on its head.
Speaking exclusively to Ladbrokes, former Gunners defender Silvestre said the trip to the Etihad is Arsenal's "biggest in a decade" and insisted Mikel Arteta's side can still dream of a maiden Champions League triumph after reaching the semi-finals.
Arsenal remain in a strong position in the Premier League title race, but momentum has shifted after a costly result. Manchester City are now firmly back in contention, tightening the outright market.
"This weekend was a big twist in the title race, for sure.
"I didn’t expect Arsenal to lose, and then for Man City to go and win so convincingly… I wouldn’t say it’s wide-open again but City are definitely back in the frame.
"I think I’d rather be in City’s dressing room right now, over Arsenal’s, as a player.
"You’d rather be chasing, because all of the pressure is on Arsenal right now.
"City have gained a massive advantage this weekend, but Arsenal are still in a position where it’s theirs to lose."
Arsenal’s trip to Manchester City is shaping up as the defining match in the title race, with both sides knowing the stakes. A tight encounter is expected, with little to separate the teams in the betting market.
"It’s definitely Arsenal’s biggest game of the season.
"When you think it could be a title-defining match, you might even go as far as to say this weekend’s game is their biggest in over a decade.
"They have to react quickly, for sure, and what better way to react than with a result at Man City this weekend.
"I can see it finishing a draw… I think it’s going to be really tight, so I’ll go with a 2-2 draw, which of course would be a great result for Arsenal."
Arsenal’s deep run in the Champions League has strengthened their position in the outright market, with tougher tests still to come. Navigating elite opposition will be key if they are to go all the way.
"It’s nice, first of all, to see Arsenal back up there, competing in Europe again, because it’s something we haven’t seen for so long.
"They take an important lead into their second leg against Sporting Lisbon this week.
"I actually think, for Arsenal, Atletico Madrid would be a tougher test than Barcelona.
"They are a difficult team to manoeuvre.
"But if you want to win the Champions League, you’re going to have to face the best before you get there.
"The challenge is to find a way of beating them.
"This week is about finishing the job against Sporting, and then they’ll focus on whoever they’ve got in the semis.
"You know, these are special nights for everyone associated with the football club.
"It’s important that when you do – and if Arsenal get there this year – that they give everything."
