New York Mayoral Election odds 2025: Mamdani set for landslide win

Zohran Mamdani is expected to achieve a landslide victory in the New York Mayoral Election odds tomorrow, at least if Ladbrokes' latest odds are to be believed.

Mamdani has taken social media by storm, and the 34-year-old is widely expected to become the next Mayor of New York.

That's reflected by the odds, with Ladbrokes giving a Mamdani win an assumed probability of over 97%.

As explained, Mamadani is seen by the bookies as being the heavy, heavy favourite to win the New York Mayoral Election on November 4, with Andrew Cuomo his only competition.

Curtis Sliwa remains in the race, with odds of 66/1, while Cuomo is priced at 12/1 to shock US politics and pull off an upset win.

Due to just how likely it is that Mamdani walks away with the win, Ladbrokes is also giving customers the ability to bet on his margin of victory.

The most expected margin of victory for Mamdani, according to the latest odds, is between 45% and 50%.

Mamdani winning by between 50% and 55% has an assumed probability of just shy of 31%, with a victory by between 40% and 45% given just over 28% chance of happening.

For those interested in more of a longshot, Mamdani winning by over 70% is priced at 50/1, with a less than 30% margin of victory being given odds of 100/1 by Ladbrokes.

Unsurprisingly, current Vice President JD Vance is tipped to win the 2028 US Presidential Election, taking over from Donald Trump to become to become the next President.

In the US Constitution, it says that "no person except a natural-born Citizen… shall be eligible to the Office of President", and that rules Mamdani out of ever entering the Oval Office.

Mamdani was born to non-American parents in Uganda, becoming a US citizen through naturalisation in 2018.

It's said that "a natural born citizen is a person who became a U.S. citizen at birth and did not need to go through a naturalization proceeding later in life", which would rule Mamdani out.
