Ladbrokes has updated the 2028 US Election odds, with a new frontrunner emerging.
JD Vance, the current Vice President, had long been tipped as the 2028 Election winner and future US President.
However, he's now been replaced by Gavin Newsom, with Marco Rubio rounding out the top three.

Ladbrokes have updated odds for the 2028 US Election, with JD Vance no longer the favourite to become the next US President.
Pretty much immediately after the 2024 US Election and Trump assuming off at the beginning of 2025, Ladbrokes shared its odds for the 2028 US Election winner.
The early odds had JD Vance as the most likely next US President, with the Vice President viewed as the natural successor to Donald Trump.
However, as a result of Vance and Trump's handling of the war in the Middle East between the America and Iran, the current Vice President is no longer the favourite to win the next US Election.
As the odds above show, Gavin Newsom is now viewed as MORE LIKELY than Vance to become the next US President as a result of winning the 2028 Presidential election.
However, the assumed probability of Vance winning the 2028 election is just shy than 2% less than the assumed probability of Newsom emerging victorious, showing just how close the odds are.
Above are the odds for the six favourites to win the next US Presidential election, ranging from Newsom and Vance to Tucker Carlson, who is currently priced at 20/1.
As for the party who could win the next election in 2028, Ladbrokes has odds on that too, with the the Democrats looking set for regain the White House according to the latest odds at this very early stage.
Looking into the future, Ladbrokes also has odds on the next UK General Election, which is due to take place in 2029 after Labour beat the Conservatives in 2024.
