Aston Villa and Tottenham are leading the way in the latest Omar Marmoush next club odds, with the Manchester City forward linked with a January loan exit.

The Egyptian forward, who is currently representing his country at AFCON, impressed initially for Man City after signing for the club a year ago but has played more of a bit-part role this season, starting only twice in the Premier League and making just 10 league appearances overall.

Marmoush is believed to be open to getting more minutes elsewhere, with Villa and Spurs the two clubs vying for his signature as they look to bolster their squads ahead of the second half of the campaign. The pair are both 6/1 to land the £59million City man.

Villa and Spurs enquire about Marmoush loan

Marmoush looked set to be a key player for Man City for years to come when he made an instant impact at the Etihad last January having joined from Eintracht Frankfurt.

The 26-year-old was pivotal in City's resurgence during the second half of the season, scoring seven goals and providing two assists in 16 Premier League appearances to help Pep Guardiola's men secure Champions League qualification.

But this season it has been a different story, with Marmoush barely starting in the league and having to settle for minutes off the bench. As a result, he has scored just once in the Carabao Cup in 2025/26.

Recent reports suggest that while Guardiola is keen to keep the versatile forward as an option, Marmoush is open to a move with both Villa and Spurs viewed as 6/1 frontrunners.

Villa have surprisingly found themselves battling with Arsenal and City at the top of the table and could look to a high-profile January arrival to give them a boost for the second half of the campaign, just like they did with Marcus Rashford and Marco Asensio last season.

They are set to face competition from Spurs, who are struggling in the bottom half under Thomas Frank and are desperately searching for an attacking spark, which Marmoush would undoubtedly help bring.

Chelsea and Newcastle also in the mix

Ladbrokes have also offered prices for Marmoush to join both Chelsea and Newcastle, with a move to a fellow Premier League side favoured by the bookies.

Newcastle are seen as the most likely destination after the two frontrunners, with odds of 20/1 given for Marmoush to switch to St James' Park in a move which would see him remain playing in the Champions League, providing the Magpies qualify for the knockout stage.

Chelsea are also in the mix at 25/1, with the Blues kicking off a new tenure in 2026 having appointed Liam Rosenior as Enzo Maresca's replacement.

The Blues, currently fifth, will be desperate to remain in the Champions League for next season and could well look to add Marmoush to their already vast collection of attacking players.
