Premier League Gameweek 22 preview: Predictions & Odds

Published: Updated at:

Gameweek 22 features several high-profile Premier League matches, including the Manchester Derby, and Ladbrokes previews them all.

The fixtures kick off at 12:30 on January 17, with new Interim Manchester United boss Michael Carrick leading out his side at Old Trafford for a big match against Manchester City.

Later on that day, Arsenal travel to Nottingham Forest, with that match taking place just after Liverpool host Burnley at Anfield and Brentford play Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Things continue on Sunday, with Wolves' home match against Newcastle, who come into the game off the back of a 2-0 Carabao Cup loss at home to Man City.

The action finishes on Monday evening, with the gameweek's final match seeing Bournemouth travel to the South Coast to face Brighton at the AMEX.

Premier League Gameweek 22 Preview

Manchester United vs Manchester City

Michael Carrick has a huge task in his first match as Man United boss, and we're not expecting it to go well for him. Our team of experts are tipping the away side to walk away with all three points.

Chelsea vs Brentford

Chelsea may be expecting a new manager bounce, with Liam Rosenior now in charge, but Brentford won't be pushovers. We're predicting a 1-1 draw between the two sides on Saturday afternoon.

Leeds vs Fulham

Both Leeds and Fulham have picked up good results in recent weeks, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Harry Wilson shining for their respective clubs. We expect another 1-1 draw.

Liverpool vs Burnley

Liverpool, despite not playing all that well, are on an unbeaten run in the Premier League that stretches back to November. We expect that winning streak to continue at Anfield on Saturday.

Tottenham vs West Ham

Tottenham may be struggling themselves at the bottom, but they should have enough to see-off a poor West Ham side. The Hammers, if they don't get their act together fast, could well get relegated.

Sunderland vs Crystal Palace

Palace aren't in a great spot right now, losing to Macclesfield in the FA Cup at the weekend. We expect things to go from bad to worse for them in the Premier League, losing to Sunderland on January 17 without scoring.

Nottingham Forest vs Arsenal

Look away Man City fans, Arsenal are cruising towards the Premier League title and we don't expect them to drop points against Nottingham Forest in Saturday's 5:30pm kickoff.

Wolves vs Newcastle

Wolves are in better form right now, but are still major relegation favourites. Newcastle, on the other hand, are fighting for a Champions League spot, and we're tipping them to win on Sunday afternoon.

Aston Villa vs Everton

Aston Villa are right in the mix to win the Premier League title, so don't be surprised to see them comfortably beat Everton this weekend.

Brighton vs Bournemouth

Bournemouth, in their first Premier League match without Antoine Semenyo, will be aiming to show that they weren't reliant on their star winger. A motivated Bournemouth drawing 2-2 with Brighton is our prediction.
