The midweek set of fixtures is then brought to a close at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, as strugglers Spurs take on an out-of-form Crystal Palace on Thursday at 8pm.

Premier League Gameweek 29 preview: Predictions & odds

Premier League Gameweek 29 Preview

Bournemouth vs Brentford

Despite throwing away a three-goal lead, Brentford showed the character to fight back again and nick a win at the weekend, making that three consecutive away victories for the Bees. Bournemouth drew for the third time in four matches, and with only four points separating the sides, this one will be tight - but we think Brentford will edge it on the south coast.

Everton vs Burnley

An impressive victory at St. James' Park has put Everton right back in the hunt for European football, and they shouldn't have any problems against a Burnley side with only two away wins all season. The Clarets have put in some eye-catching performances in the last couple of weeks, but the relegation favourites will struggle against David Moyes' confident Toffees.

Leeds United vs Sunderland

A narrow defeat to Man City felt harsh on Saturday evening, but Leeds will take real heart from the performance - and we're tipping them to get the better of Sunderland on Tuesday night. The Black Cats are winless in four Premier League games, and are slowly seeing their season peter out, so with Leeds still desperate to climb further away from the drop, we think the hosts will have too much.

Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Liverpool

Wolves' win over Aston Villa gave Rob Edwards' side a glimmer of genuine hope in the relegation scrap, but the visit of Liverpool should put a pin in that on Tuesday night. Arne Slot's Reds hit West Ham for five on Saturday, and with Liverpool still needing wins to earn their place in the top four, the champions should be too strong for their seemingly Championship-bound hosts.

Aston Villa vs Chelsea

Aston Villa's form has collapsed following injuries to their key midfielders, with Friday's defeat at Wolves a real low point, and the visit of Chelsea presents another huge problem. The Blues are right on their tails in the hunt for Champions League football, and were unlucky to lose at Arsenal on Sunday, so they'll be ready to pile further misery on Villa. We're backing a draw, in what could prove to be a pivotal night in the top-four race.

Brighton & Hove Albion vs Arsenal

Back-to-back victories have given Brighton something to shout about after a run of one win in 13, but the visit of title-favourites Arsenal should prove a step too far. The Gunners maintained their five-point lead at the top of the table with victory over Chelsea, and despite not putting in the most convincing of performances, they're getting results - so we're predicting an away win at the AMEX.

Fulham vs West Ham United

Fulham beat one relegation-threatened side on Sunday, and they host another one in the form of West Ham on Wednesday night, with Nuno Espirito Santo's side needing to immediately bounce back from their thumping at Anfield. Fulham are hunting for a fourth straight win in all competitions, but as West Ham make the short trip across London with so much to battle for, we think this one will end all square.

Manchester City vs Nottingham Forest

Manchester City just aren't going away in this title race, with a hard-fought victory at Elland Road keeping the pressure on favourites Arsenal, and a routine home win against struggling Nottingham Forest should be on the cards. Vitor Pereira's side haven't picked up a Premier League win since the end of January, and travelling to a stadium where they haven't even scored a goal since getting promoted in 2022, the odds are stacked against them here.

Newcastle United vs Manchester United

Manchester United's controversial victory on Sunday saw them climb into third, and with the Red Devils winning six of their seven games under Michael Carrick, we're tipping them to pick up another impressive victory when they travel to Newcastle on Wednesday. Eddie Howe's side have only won one Premier League game since the first week of January, and having lost each of their last three at St. James' Park, an in-form Man United will likely heap more misery on the Magpies.

Tottenham Hotspur vs Crystal Palace

The last game of the midweek gameweek is a huge one in North London, as Spurs look for their first Premier League win of 2026 at home to Crystal Palace - but we don't think they'll get it. There's an air of inevitability around Spurs at the minute, and it isn't positive, so Palace will be ready to pounce. Tottenham's record against the Eagles is actually quite good, winning six of the last eight meetings, but with the pressure mounting on Igor Tudor by the day, we're backing the visitors to come out on top.
