Sean Levey Glorious Goodwood Day One rides blog: 'This lad has a nice outside chance'

Ladbrokes ambassador Sean Levey shares his thoughts on all of the action on day one of Glorious Goodwood, with the jockey having four rides on the day.

Savvy Victory is a horse I won on a few starts back, in Newcastle. On his day he's a very good horse. This is very much his trip, the ground is in his favour and he's got a nice draw here. He's looking to find some form again, and I hope he does this week. 

I won on Gharma Sutra a couple of weeks ago, and I thought he ran very well in that race at Ffos Las. He's a really nice horse, I just hope seven furlongs isn't going to be too much of an issue for him. This is a huge step up, going from a maiden to this Group 2 Vintage Stakes - especially one as competitive as this one. 

But, as I said, we're talking about a really nice horse here, and I suppose we're going to see where he's at and what his future might look like after this one. I'd say he's probably the ride I'm most looking forward to on the opening day, though.

Robert Cowell is so straight-forward with these kind of horses; he's very good with his sprinters. They've been in very good form this year, and I'd say this lad has a nice outside chance.

Bayraq Almuhamadia is a horse who has been doing really well at home for Richard Hannon - obviously this is his first start, but we're really looking forward to seeing him out there and we're hopeful he'll run well for us.
