*** UPDATE - On April 27, Liverpool beat Tottenham to officially win the Premier League title ***
A supercomputer has predicted who will win the 2024/25 Premier League season, with Liverpool on course to win the title for the first time since 2020.
With 33 games of the season having been played, Liverpool sit at the top of the Premier League table, having only lost two of their domestic league fixtures under new head coach Arne Slot.
Things have been going so well for the Reds since Slot's first game in August that the bookies, at this early stage, have given Liverpool a 100% chance of winning the Premier League this season, despite only being given an 10% chance of coming first at the beginning of the campaign.
Liverpool are 13 points ahead of Arsenal and 21 better off than Man City. Considering their lead, a supercomputer thinks that it's Slot's side who are going to end Pep Guardiola's dominance over English football and win the title at the first time of asking.

Opta, with the help of a supercomputer, attempted to accurately predict who is going to win the Premier League title come the Spring, and it's not good news for either City or Arsenal fans.
Below is an explanation for how the model works, with Liverpool tipped to come out on top.

The Premier League winner odds for the 24/25 season have Liverpool ahead of both Man City and Arsenal, and that's what the supercomputer thinks too, with the Reds being given a 100% chance of winning the title for the first time since 2020.
Guardiola's side are predicted to come fourth, with Nottingham Forest set to pip them to third place. To make matters worse for Guardiola and co, Liverpool are on course to deny them of winning five Premier League titles out of a possible five, having become the first team to win four-in-a-row earlier this year.
It seems like Arsenal's poor start to the season, which has seen them lose to Newcastle and Bournemouth, could cost them dearly come the end of the season, with the Gunners given a 0% chance of winning the title at this stage.
Man City, for context, are in behind Liverpool and Arsenal with regards to probability, with a 0% chance of winning the title come May 2025.
City's trip to Anfield on December 1 was always going to be a huge one in the title race, with Liverpool looking to extend their gap at the top to potentially 11 points come the final whistle, which is exactly what happened after Slot and co beat Guardiola's side 2-0.
Newcastle are expected to join the three aforementioned clubs in the Champions League spots, which is backed by the latest top four odds.
As for the bottom of the table, Southampton, Ipswich and Leicester are all on track to finish in the bottom three, which is backed up by the latest relegation odds from Ladbrokes.
