Tottenham Hotspur vs Crystal Palace: Premier League preview, predictions and bet builder tips

Ladbrokes brings you an in-depth match preview for Tottenham vs Crystal Palace including predictions, lineups and expert bet builder tips.

Igor Tudor still awaits his first point as Spurs manager after back-to-back defeats, and with Tottenham still winless in the Premier League in 2026, the pressure of a relegation battle is getting very, very real.

Crystal Palace haven't enjoyed a fruitful 2026 either, only picking up two wins in the league, so as two out-of-form teams go head-to-head in North London, this one really could be anyone's game.

Richarlison to score vs Crystal Palace

After coming off the bench to score against Fulham, we're tipping Richarlison for a start in this huge game at the bottom of the Premier League - and we're also backing him to find the net again for just his second goal of 2026.

Unfortunately for Richarlison, he's become slightly renowned for scoring consolation goals that ultimately don't matter, and we're expecting much of the same on Thursday night, with the Brazilian scoring for Spurs in yet another home defeat.

Eight Premier League goals from just 13 starts isn't a bad return at all, and with the striker averaging almost a shot on target per game, he always brings a threat for Spurs.

Despite Palace having the strongest defensive record in the bottom half, we're backing Richarlison to breach them here, strengthening his position as Tottenham's top scorer.

Brennan Johnson to have 1+ shots on target

Speaking of Spurs' top scorers, Brennan Johnson led the way for the North London club last season with 11 Premier League goals - and he's coming back to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in Crystal Palace colours with a real point to prove.

The scorer of their Europa League-winning goal, Brennan Johnson hasn't had the blistering start to life at Palace he would've hoped for, but his position in that front three will cause all sorts of problems for a makeshift Tottenham backline.

Johnson is yet to score for his new club, but assists in back-to-back games across all competitions suggest he's starting to find his feet, and we think his confidence will translate into at least one shot on target here.

The Palace winger actually only averages a shot on target every two or three games, but with the bit between his teeth, we think 1+ shots on target against one of the league's poorest defences could be a valuable pick.

Jaydee Canvot to be shown a card

Jaydee Canvot has made a really promising start to life at Crystal Palace, quickly becoming comfortable as the all-important Marc Guehi replacement, but we think the front two of Spurs could cause him problems, with the teenager ultimately picking up a yellow card.

All five of Canvot's Premier League starts have come since the turn of the year, as have both of his Premier League bookings, and in the absence of Maxence Lacroix, the young Frenchman will need to step up for his side - but we think he'll overstep the mark.

Dominic Solanke and Richarlison are two very decent attackers, with the latter getting fouled almost twice a game on average, so with Canvot committing just under a foul per 90, he seems a smart pick for a yellow in this one.

Tensions will be very high at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with Spurs having no choice but to put the Palace defence under a barrage of pressure, so we're tipping Jaydee Canvot to be shown a card on a busy evening.

Crystal Palace to win away at Spurs

Rounding off our Spurs vs Crystal Palace preview and bet builder tips, we're jumping into the match betting market, and Ladbrokes is backing Oliver Glasner's visitors to pile further misery on Tottenham with just a second away win since December.

Igor Tudor hasn't had a huge impact since entering the Spurs hotseat, and with the third-worst home record in the league (above only Burnley and Wolves), Tottenham Hotspur are starting to look in real trouble.

Palace won this fixture last season on a comfortable day out in North London, and despite Spurs actually winning six of the last eight meetings between the two sides - including December's reverse fixture - the hosts' confidence just looks too low.

Tottenham's winless run in the Premier League has now stretched to 10 games, and with so much pressure on their shoulders, the players are struggling to stop the rut - so we're predicting a Crystal Palace victory.
