Wolves vs Newcastle prediction
Our prediction: Wolves 1-2 Newcastle
Wolves' performances have improved since Rob Edwards took charge and results have picked up recently too. After narrow defeats at Arsenal and Liverpool, Wolves are unbeaten in their last three league games, and had a morale-boosting 6-1 win over Shrewsbury in the FA Cup.
However, Newcastle have found some form of late as well, with three straight Premier League wins moving them up to 6th in the table. Eddie Howe's side have not reached the levels of recent seasons, with defensive injuries continuing to afflict them, but still possess enough quality to get over the line at Molineux. We're predicting a narrow 2-1 win for the visitors, with Wolves continuing to battle hard against the drop.

Newcastle to win
That run of three wins in a row has seen Newcastle surge up the table after an inconsistent season to date, and they're now a point behind Brentford in 5th, but also only six points clear of 15th, highlighting how congested the middle of the pack is. Another win here would go a long way towards continuing that momentum.
Central to Wolves' resurgence - relative, as they're still bottom with 7 points - has been 18-year-old Matheus Mane, who's playing with a freedom not seen in the squad this year, and has scored in his last two league games. Jorgen Strand Larsen, who nearly moved to Tyneside in the summer, has been out of Rob Edwards' first choice team in recent weeks but did score a hat-trick in their FA Cup win.
Newcastle are still searching for form and cohesion, with wingers Anthony Elanga and Anthony Gordon out of sorts, but were at their chaotic best in their thrilling late 4-3 win over Leeds. After a deflating first-leg loss to Man City in the Carabao Cup, they'll want to bounce back and we reckon they'll do just that.
Both teams to score
Newcastle's backline suffered another blow with the news that Tino Livramento will be out for two months with a hamstring injury. With Dan Burn, Fabian Schar, Emil Krafth and Jamaal Lascelles also missing, they are down to the bare bones, although 19-year-old Lewis Miley has done an excellent job filling in at right-back.
Eddie Howe's side have failed to keep an away clean sheet in their last seven league games, while Wolves are in their groove after scoring nine in their past two home games. In line with our 2-1 prediction, we're adding both teams to score to our bet builder.
Bruno Guimaraes to score
The Newcastle United skipper is the heartbeat of his team and has been one of the standout midfielders in the Premier League this season, with eight goals and five assists from central midfield. Guimaraes has already surpassed his highest goals tally in a league season for The Magpies, and with a goal in each of his last three, we're tipping him to get on the scoresheet again.
Newcastle over 5.5 corners
No team in the Premier League has more than Newcastle's fifteen goals from set-pieces or penalties this season, and although Dan Burn is missing, they're sure to provide a big threat from them here. The Toon have had over five corners in four of their last five games, averaging 7.4 per game in that stretch, so for the last leg of our bet builder we're going with Newcastle over 5.5 corners.
