Ladbrokes predicts the England starting lineup against France in the World Cup third-place play-off
Thomas Tuchel is expected to shuffle his pack with the likes of Eberechi Eze and Jarell Quansah starting
Harry Kane and Jude Bellingham are backed to keep their places as they hunt the Golden Boot

The game neither England or France wanted to play in kicks off on Saturday night as they face off in the third-place play-off at the World Cup.
The Three Lions were denied a first World Cup final for 60 years after a heart-breaking late 2-1 defeat to Argentina in the semi-finals, with securing third spot now the best Thomas Tuchel's men can hope for against the French, who were denied a place in the final after losing to Spain.
With the game of less importance, Tuchel may opt to ring the changes to give a chance for the fringe players in his squad, although some of the biggest names may remain in the XI as they chase personal accolades.
Below you can see our predicted England XI against France as the Three Lions conclude their 2026 World Cup campaign.
GK: Dean Henderson
RB: Jarell Quansah
CB: Ezri Konsa
CB: Dan Burn
LB: Djed Spence
CM: Elliot Anderson
CM: Jude Bellingham
RW: Noni Madueke
CAM: Morgan Rogers
LW: Eberechi Eze
ST: Harry Kane (C)
We reckon Tuchel will make a switch in goal for what is essentially a dead rubber, with Dean Henderson coming in for his first appearance in a major tournament in place of Jordan Pickford. The Crystal Palace stopper is probably considered No2 behind Pickford in the pecking order, and the goalkeeping position feels like an easy one to make a change in for this game.
There are plenty of changes in the back four as Jarell Quansah slots back into right-back following suspension, with Reece James unlikely to risk an injury. Ezri Konsa is set to partner Dan Burn after both started on the bench vs Argentina, with Djed Spence rewarded for a superb performance in the semi-finals as he goes into the left-back berth once again.
In midfield, Elliot Anderson will keep his place after starting every game of the tournament, with Declan Rice almost certain to not feature after playing through illness and injury so far, which is likely to see Jude Bellingham slot back into a deeper role, rather than the unfancied Kobbie Mainoo coming in for his first minutes.
We expect to see Noni Madueke return to the starting XI on the right-wing, with Morgan Rogers not quite convincing there in the semi-final and Bukayo Saka seemingly still struggling with injury. Madueke has started four out of England's seven games at this tournament and should be tasked with providing the width.
We've gone for a more central role for Rogers in this game after his assist for Anthony Gordon's goal in the semi-final. Rogers has enjoyed a mixed World Cup with limited opportunities but should get the chance to impress here.
On the left-hand side, we're backing a start for Eberechi Eze over Marcus Rashford. Since starting against DR Congo, Rashford was not seen until the closing stages of Wednesday's defeat, with Eze favoured to come on in the quarter-final against Norway. The Arsenal man is well capable of playing on the left and is likely to get a chance, with Gordon set to switch to the bench.
Finally, we expect Harry Kane to remain up front, with a potential Golden Boot still up for grabs alongside Bellingham as the pair sit on six goals apiece - two behind current leaders Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe. Even in a game of lesser importance, it feels likely Tuchel will stick with his skipper, leaving back-up strikers Ollie Watkins and Ivan Toney on very few minutes this World Cup.
