Ladbrokes shares its predictions for Wrexham vs Birmingham City in the Championship
Match predicted to end in a 1-1 draw, with Kieffer Moore hitting the target at least once
Jay Stansfield also backed for a shot on target, with Jhon Solis tipped for a card

The 2026/27 Championship action resumes on Friday night as Wrexham take on Birmingham City in the previously coined 'Hollywood derby', with both sides still searching for their first win of the season.
Both teams have made slow starts to the campaign with two draws apiece, already finding themselves five points adrift from the top of the league, but it's Wrexham who arrive as slight favourites - largely thanks to home advantage, with the Dragons only losing a handful of games at home last term.
The away team has never actually won this fixture in a league game, so history bodes well for Wrexham - but with Birmingham looking to buck that trend, we're set for a storming Championship tie. Read on for our expert Wrexham vs Birmingham Bet Builder tips, with predictions and live odds.

Kieffer Moore kicked off his season in style with a goal in the opening three minutes against Cardiff, and despite not having the same impact against Watford last time out, we're tipping the big striker to hit the target at least once here. Moore averaged a shot on target per 90 in the Championship last season, and is already averaging more than that this term, so will lead the line with real purpose - testing James Beadle in the Birmingham goal.
At the other end, Jay Stansfield will look to prove his worth out on the left for Birmingham City, with the big-money signing yet to get off the mark for the season. The 23-year-old is getting into the right positions, however, with two shots on target across his side's opening two games, and we're backing him to have 1+ SOT here as he hunts just his third goal of 2026.
Having committed three fouls across Birmingham's opening two Championship matches, Jhon Solis is already showcasing his combative style in the middle of the park, and we're tipping him to take it a step too far on Friday night. The Colombian averaged well over a tackle per game last season, and if Blues are going to impose themselves on their ambitious hosts, they'll have to bring bite in midfield - which may well see Solis pick up a card.
With both sides coming into this one sitting on two points from two games, we're going to see stern displays from Wrexham and Birmingham - and we're backing their early-season trends to continue. Two of their last three meetings have actually ended all square, and in a balanced clash between two sides with their sights set on breaking into the top eight come May, our experts are predicting another draw here.
