World Cup Group K odds
Group K at the 2026 World Cup brings together Portugal, Colombia, DR Congo and Uzbekistan, with Portugal leading the betting to finish top of the group.
Portugal arrive with one of the strongest squads in the tournament and are expected to be serious contenders in North America. With Cristiano Ronaldo potentially making his final World Cup appearance, plus a midfield packed with talent such as Vitinha, Joao Neves, Bruno Fernandes and Bernardo Silva, Portugal have been priced as the odds-on favourites to win Group K.
Colombia look the most likely side to challenge them for first place. The South American nation missed out on Qatar 2022, but they return with a dangerous squad featuring James Rodriguez, Luis Diaz, Daniel Munoz and Richard Rios. After reaching the 2024 Copa America final and qualifying strongly, Colombia look well placed to push Portugal and cause problems in the knockout stages.
DR Congo will also believe they can make an impact after reaching their first World Cup in more than 50 years. With players such as Yoane Wissa, Noah Sadiki and Aaron Wan-Bissaka in their squad, the Leopards have enough quality to compete for qualification, especially with eight third-placed teams progressing from the group stage.
Uzbekistan complete the group and will make history as the first Central Asian nation to appear at a World Cup. Fabio Cannavaro’s side are outsiders in the Group K betting, but with Abdukodir Khusanov in defence and Eldor Shomurodov leading the line, the White Wolves will be aiming to make more than just a brief appearance on the world stage.
World Cup Group K betting
The key betting markets in Group K are expected to focus on the group winner, qualification, and which team finishes bottom.
Portugal have the strength and depth to be considered the leading contenders to top the group, while Colombia are expected to be their closest rivals for first place. DR Congo could attract interest in the qualification market, while Uzbekistan are the outsiders but could still be competitive in individual match markets.
The final round of fixtures could be especially important, with Colombia facing Portugal and DR Congo taking on Uzbekistan at the same time. Those two matches may decide the group winner, the second automatic-looking qualification spot, and which side has the best chance of progressing from third.
