A tricky opening event with a lot of out-of-form rivals. JOIE DE BERTRANGE (4) showed improvement a couple of weeks ago and can beat these rivals if repeating that level of form. IBIS D'OR (3) is better than her last run would suggest and can be a lively danger this time around. JONAGOLD (5) has won at this course in November but is not easy to trust and has two recent disqualifications to overcome. ILLUSION DE CHENU (6) looks capable of improvement in this division and is another to consider.
