This year's Aintree Hurdle features an interesting rematch between two of the bigger names in the hurdles sphere. The New Lion (second pick) still has potential as he goes back up in distance but crack Irish mare BRIGHTERDAYSAHEAD has already got the T-shirt where Aintree is concerned and she is narrowly taken to confirm Champion Hurdle placings with the Skelton runner. El Fabiolo has the talent to land this prize if judged on his best chase form, while Alexei continues to improve and Potters Charm brings good credentials.[Steve Boow]
