Verdict
It's easy to make a strong case for Skimming Along, who readily drew clear to win over 11.6f on heavy ground here 11 days ago and remains lightly raced, but an interesting alternative is CORSICAN CAPER. The 5yo has dropped to a very tempting mark and, having waited all season for his favoured slow ground, was stymied in a tactical race here this month. Tara Iti is also much better than he showed in that recent C&D contest, while Russian Rumour should also be suited by this test.[Chris Wilson]
