Solid in Bordeaux on her return to competition, MARAVIGLIA (4) lost her action in Paris next time, but will be fit by now, has nothing to prove at this level, sports a competitive configuration, and from the 4-spot will be hard to oppose. MAKITA BERRY (10) has started to come into herself over recent weeks, races first-time barefoot, and will be no pushover if Tony Le Beller positions her early. MISS SMART (12) did not skip a beat on her November re-entry and with shoes off this time will be competitive at the business end of the race. MEGAFLECHE (13) starts beside her on the back row, will also be barefoot for her Cabourg bow, and will have a lot to contribute if she takes to the new conditions.
