KATINKA GEMA (15) has not been seen out since October but has nothing to prove at this level and Marc Sassier could not have wished for a better entry. KALAGA DU CADRAN (9) has made the frame in all 4 starts this winter and even though in marginally better company this time, still looks competitive for a place on the podium. Considerably better than her latest result would suggest, KOOKEY MELODY (5) is hard to fault when applied at Cagnes and should be taken seriously.
