Verdict
While Ratemenow showed some ability at Hexham on his recent debut under rules, and much more seemingly than odds of 50-1 suggested, he may still prove vulnerable to one or more of today's rules newcomers. The prime candidates in that group seem to be Loveable Reprobate, who is the only runner on this card for his in-form Lambourn trainer Jamie Snowden, and KILNESARE FLIGHT who is Brian Hughes's mount from three candidates for the Donald McCain yard. The latter is preferred, having the benefit of some experience in an Irish point, but money for the Snowden runner could prove ominous.[Richard Austen]
