+1d Charles Town

AXEL FOLEY (2) Folded up in the straight when 6th last run at the track. Looking for an improved run and up against a less competitive field. Respect in this event. BIRDY WHISPER (6) Led throughout to win by 1 3/4L last time here and on an upward trajectory in recent races. Has shown early pace in races to date. Worth a ticket. HAMDOUN (9) Was strong late when 2nd last time at the track and taking on a lower class of opponents. In good form since returning from a break. Must respect. GO FOR BOURBON (3) First up from a break of 13 weeks and put in a competitive run when placing 3rd first up last preparation at Turfway Park. Up against weaker rivals. Each way appeals best.
