Verdict
Jagwar won at this meeting 12 months ago and his star continues to ascend. He'll be a tough nut to crack but JAVERT ALLEN is an interesting alternative in receipt of lumps of weight. The selection has rock-solid 2m form and his pedigree suggests this step up in distance could suit. Most of the others make rather less appeal, although Booster Bob keeps getting better and last year's winner Moon d'Orange is now only 1lb higher and showed more life last time.[Richard O'Brien]
