Verdict
The novice COUNTRY MILE was looming large as a big threat prior to a bad mistake two out here in October on his second chase start, and is taken to make amends today. The 5yo Excelero won in fine style at Warwick last month on his second chase start and, while today's company is much tougher, he may be the chief danger. Last month's course scorer Triple Trade is third choice ahead of David's Well.[Ben Hutton]
