Fergal O'Brien's SIOG GEAL can battle her way to the win, having already won the prestigious and competitive mares' final at Newbury in April. Jubilee Alpha looked poised to throw down a strong challenge against Sweet Caryline at Wincanton but threw away her chance with a blunder two out and the positions may well be reversed this time. If the ground is not soft, Lagoon Nebula could be a surprise package from Ireland, as she was when scoring here in April.[Richard Austen]
