Verdict
This is a weak maiden by the venue's usual standard. STARMAN TOM can go one better with normal improvement from his debut second at Cork. An official rating of around 80 is typically needed to win a maiden here, but the 75-rated Thenandnow makes some appeal, even though her best juvenile run was on quick ground. Ragaire and Grande Cuvee may prove the pick of the newcomers, Cactus and Glen And Tonic have shown a modicum of ability. [Alan Sweetman]
