The 7yo GRAND GESTE (nap) is the latest staying chase success story this season for the Parkinson/Smith yard, and he can follow up his dominant win in the Tommy Whittle at Haydock. New Order was just outstayed over Cheltenham's stiff, extended 3m1f on New Year's Day and is feared most over this slightly shorter trip. King's Threshold impressed last time and is next on the list, although cases can also be made for Deep Cave, Josh The Boss, Dartmoor Pirate and last year's winner Docpickedme.[Ben Hutton]
