Wintercast and Wayward Queen are well-bred newcomers to consider, while The Jackal shaped well on last month's debut and is open to improvement, as is Masaban for whom there is a slight query over the drop to 6f. Roy Lane (second choice) can leave his 2yo debut well behind him this year but BUCKLOW HILL looked a useful prospect when winning at Lingfield on his debut and he may defy his penalty.[Paul Smith]
