Verdict
All the runners can be given a chance of sorts. EL GRANJERO (nap) made an encouraging return at Aintree on only his second run over fences and, not only is his yard now in better form than in November, but Ned Fox takes off a handy 5lb. First Confession could be dangerous if he can find greater fluency than when only 4-1 for a Cheltenham handicap last time. Laganhill is another who should be capable of further progress as a chaser.[Alistair Jones]
