Paul Nicholls' 6yo TUTTI QUANTI made up into a very smart hurdler last term and appeals as the sort to do even better over fences this season so is taken to make a winning start. Captain Teague failed to fire over hurdles last season but was a Grade 1 novice hurdle winner at his best and could emerge as the chief threat now back over fences starting out for Dan Skelton. Both George's Lad and Tamarind Bay can't be discounted either in this fascinating Listed novice chase.[Peter Entwistle]
