JUSTIN CASE (1) First up and managed to run into 2nd beaten by 1 1/4L first up last preparation at Pukekohe. Likely to be well placed early. Will appreciate the drop in grade. Can go on with it. PHILLYJEAN (9) Was overpowered late when 2nd beaten by 1L last start at Taupo and putting a tidy record together so far. Won't be far away during the run. Looks promising in this race. SHAMBO JACK (6) Finished amongst the placegetters when 3rd beaten by 1L last run at Te Rapa but taking on stronger competition. Looks to be value. KING OF THE AIR (2) Showed some merit late when 4th last time at Cambridge Synthetic but rising in grade. Should muster plenty of early toe. Should be competitive in this race at a bit of odds.
