ARKSEY (7) Showed a good turn of foot when 2nd beaten by almost 2 1/2L last start at the track. Looking sharp on the track since resuming from a break. Can give this a shake. CONEY ISLAND (4) Did well when 3rd last run at Wanganui and going back up in distance. Putting up notable efforts since coming back from a break. Can take this out. SUBTLE IMAGE (1) Finished well when 2nd last time at Wanganui and matched against lesser competition. Should be swooping on the field late. The large claim from Tom Wigram helps. Appears well in this. DICTATION (15) Looked good when 3rd last start in a hurdle at Te Aroha but coming back in distance. Finishes off strongly. All 7 wins have been on heavy ground. Should be competitive in this race at a bit of odds.
