The progressive 4yo MAXIMISING has been in fine form on testing ground of late and is taken to add to August's win at Windsor. Venetian Lion is unraced on slow turf but William Haggas has a strong recent record in this race and his progressive 3yo is feared most ahead of The Resdev Scholar, who is 2-2 on heavy going.
