IVY BLITZ (10) Below standard effort when 12th last start at Funabashi but returns to more ground. Jockey Naoki Machida and trainer Yamazaki Seiji are a proven combination. Must respect in this event. LIVE GIN TONIC (4) Only fair when 10th last start at Urawa. Might take a while to wind up but should be hitting top gear in the straight. Worth strong consideration. TAVANESTAN (1) Finished 5th last start at this track but has drawn the rails. Jockey Jouji Wada and trainer Shouichi Hirata are a strong combination. Has plenty of early speed. Good prospects. GOLD KID (8) Nice run when 3rd last run at Urawa. Won't be far away during the run. Capable of forward showing and can be competitive.
