A ton of pace is signed on here, so good fillies and mares who are used to dominating smaller fields, such as Sweet Azteca, Explora and R Disaster, may find themselves at a big disadvantage. Evanescence (second choice) is the obvious off-the-pace type but WAYS AND MEANS has the best form and is adaptable enough to drop in and follow the pace. Of the rest, Kilwin has place claims along with Foie Gras but their form is a long way short of the selection's.[James Willoughby]
