Verdict
Mr Lincoln (second choice) will be a tough nut to crack if able to recapture his best Irish form but he returned from a long absence with a disappointing stable debut this month and his tendency to race too freely remains a worry. A much safer option is Irish point winner CAVALIER DU LUY, who was only reeled in close home after making a bold bid from the front on last month's rules debut at Ayr. Multiple Flat winner Quercus Robur showed enough on his hurdling debut to suggest he might also feature.[Chris Wilson]
