Verdict
Jeriko Du Reponet was the best of these over hurdles and had an excuse when pulled up last November on his sole previous chase start, but the drop back in trip and removal of cheekpieces could both be negatives and preference is for JAX JUNIOR. He won three novice hurdles last season and last month's chase debut second at Uttoxeter gives him something to build on. Jeriko Du Reponet is feared most, ahead of Hansard.[Ben Hutton]
