Verdict
A strong pace looks assured and Viroflay can give it plenty from the front but KAP VERT made an enthusiastic switch to fences when brushing aside the opposition at Taunton and he is preferred. It was hard to tell how much he had in hand but it didn't look at all hard work for him and he looks pretty promising. The main danger can come from Prince Zaltar, although Montregard can also be dangerous in an open race.[Emily Weber]
