ARZAK (15) First run back from a break. Assumed control from the start when winning by 1 1/2L last start at Hakodate. In the mix. HOLY STEP (11) Back after a spell. Took charge of the race to win by a margin of a head last run at Kokura and on an upward trajectory in recent races. A win wouldn't surprise. MOONLIT ISLE (14) Did well when 3rd last run at Hanshin. In good form this campaign. Strong chance. NISHINO TRIBUTE (1) Was making up some late ground when 5th last run at Hanshin and drawn beautifully. Likely to settle back in the field. Looks to be value.
