Verdict
The opening race involves a Mullins-Elliott clash likely to be repeated many times at the festival. French import LEADER D'ALLIER, a five-time winner in AQPS races, may emulate last year's winner Kopek Des Bordes in scoring for Mullins. Point winner Ballyfad has made a fine start for Elliott in winning two bumpers in determined fashion and can prosper over hurdles, although he may ultimately shine over further than this. Tip Toe will not be far away if jumping more fluently than at Gowran. Shoda and Saveforarainyday also appeal as possible future winners. [Alan Sweetman]
