Verdict
This is all about EL FABIOLO. The top 2m chaser reverted to hurdles following jumping frailties with a smooth success on seasonal return (form franked). This is much easier than the Irish Champion Hurdle last time and he is well treated by race conditions. Maxxum looks like the main opposition, but must give the selection 5lb despite being rated 4lb less than him. State Man's half-brother Soir De Garde will find easier opportunities than this.
