Verdict

A competitive heat. Slurricane is reliable and has a solid chance and the in-form Tir Og is another with leading claims, but it might be worth taking a chance on CASTLEHEATH. He'll enjoy the testing conditions, his rider takes off a valuable 7lb and he's been in decent form on the Flat. Rakki and the locally-trained Lenjoleur De Palma are also worth considering in an open race. [Dave Stephens]
