Verdict
Wiltshire caught the eye at Newcastle last month and stepping back up in trip will give him a bit more time to get over what is becoming his customary slow start. Legal Reform is thriving at the age of nine and can go well again but the pair to appeal most are Heathcliff and BENEVENTO. Heathcliff's latest third at Kempton represents extremely solid form but Benevento, gelded prior to this stable and handicap debut, will find this opposition less demanding than he faced in 2025.[Paul Smith]
