Verdict
El Bodon bids to maintain an unbeaten record on AW and he was value for more than the winning margin at Kempton 16 days ago. Last year's winner Ferrous is 10lb higher this time around but he is still a contender, while Sergeant Wilko shouldn't be long in exploiting his reduced mark. Lakers (second choice) still has untapped potential as a sprinter but FAST TRACK HARRY (nap) is preferred. His 3yo campaign fizzled out with two modest Ascot runs but his York second last summer was promising and he has won first time out in both seasons of racing. A gelding operation since last seen may be beneficial too.[Paul Smith]
