Verdict
The Galway Plate is the obvious starting point here for considering this. NOWWHATDOYOUTHINK (nap), who is Gordon Elliott's only runner, was a staying-on fourth and will appreciate this longer trip. Both he and Downmexicoway, Henry de Bromhead's sole runner, can turn the tables on the winner King Alexander and runner-up Conyers Hill. Paul Townend sticks with his Plate mount Funiculi Funicula and he has to be taken seriously despite a possible stamina doubt. French Dynamite may prove best of a quartet saddled by Eric McNamara who knows what it takes to win this. [Alan Sweetman]
