CARNARVON (1) First run back from a 34 week break. Ran 4th last run at Turffontein. Expecting improvement but will be dropping in distance. No surprise to see a forward showing and one of the main hopes in this race. HOLY STAR (2) Amongst the placegetters when 2nd last start around here. Should jump out and bowl along. Can measure up to this company. MIDNIGHT FLYER (4) Resuming after a break of 38 weeks. Came in 2nd last run at Turffontein and showing consistent performance in races. Coming back in trip. Will be there at the finish. BLOWN AWAY (5) Unsatisfactory performance when 4th last start here. Has plenty of early speed. Rameshwar Gujadhur has been training plenty of winners recently. Could be a value selection.
