There's plenty to like about the unexposed Ruler Of Time stepping up to a mile for the first time and his dirt debut last time out can be ignored. However, he's unlikely to represent any value and a chance is taken on THE FINGAL RAVEN who shaped like he would relish a step back up in trip when beaten half a length on his return. Jamie Osborne has been amongst the winners already this carnival and with a chance this 4yo will come on from his return, he may represent each-way value with the likelihood he gets a decent pace to aim at. War Socks is closely matched with the selection on last season's Jumeirah 2,000 Guineas form but stall 15 won't be easy to negotiate.
