Verdict
The front-runner KELCE (nap) ran well a lot more often than not in 2025, with his sole blip coming on heavy ground at Cheltenham, and he earns the vote. Irish challenger Sammy Smart could be a big danger, however, on the back of his big-field win at Punchestown.
