Verdict
Wednesday's Punchestown winner Well Del demands plenty of respect off a light weight but is passed over in favour of the maiden MELBOURNE SHAMROCK (nap) who looked to be crying out for the return to this trip at Navan last time. The selection looks very much a work in progress and the fitting of cheekpieces could see the Cheltenham entry get off the mark. Harry Des Ongraix has to be respected back hurdling off a much lower mark. [Alan Hewison]
